Ulmatec 32m AMC gangway moved to test tower

The team of fabricators, mechanics, automation and logistics solution makers have finished the indoor manufacturing of our gangway and on 6th of July it was moved outside and connected to the test tower. The lift/luff cylinders will be connected and the HPU powered up next week as we begin testing in preparation for FAT and FMEA with ABS.

The testing will continue until September, when the gangway will be shipped to Louisiana. The gangway will be divided into a few main components before shipping by boat direct from our own quay. In Houma, Louisiana, the gangway will be mounted to the tower manufactured by the LaShip team.

The "ECO Edison" will start seatrials early next year and will commence operations for Ørsted in late spring 2024.
