Cargo door and ramp

Cargo doors and ramps are necessary to ensure efficient logistics when the vessel is in port. Our solutions are multifunction, with adjustable height for different pier heights or large tidal differences, hatches can be bottom opening to serve as ramps, top hinged for simplicity and full opening or side hinged for full opening if this does not interfere with the pier height.

Hatches and doors can be lightweight covers, weathertight or full waterproof depending the design requirement. Opening and closing are typically hydraulic but can be electric on request. Backup manual systems are available.

The cargo hatches and ramps are often combined with elevators and pallet hoists inside the vessel hull.
