Moving and towing
Our deck handling solutions all focus on one thing: move heavy stuff safely and efficiently.
To do this we offer skidding systems for large equipment, ensuring careful positioning of items up to 100 tons.
We offer towing winches for tugs with capacity of several hundred tons and hundreds of meters of fibre rope.
Smaller winches are used for mooring and tugging, while diverse accessories make these solutions safe for personnel and guests.
Cargo handling
For cargo handling, we offer gantry cranes for warehouses, small skidding and stacking systems and multiple cargo and personnel elevators.
Our cargo elevators can be added to existing deck installations on customer vessels, opening new possibilities for increased workscopes. Adjustable height towers can be fitted to the elevators, ensuring that the tower is not impeding on the work sector of a gangway, for instance.
High-speed and efficient cargo elevators are important for cruise and coastal express vessels, where short port stays are necessary to keep on schedule. Our cargo elevators ensure a very efficient loading and unloading operation on piers of any height. The pallet elevators swing out to offer the cargo over the pier surface, ensuring a safe environment for the forklift drivers.
Our larger cargo hatches can also serve as access ramps. Forklifts can transport pallets across these ramps, even cars can drive across and onto a lift that takes the car to the car deck for parking.
A multitude of solutions exist and it is easy for us to engineer bespoke variations without having to develop something from scratch.
